Cricut Daily Challenge for 7-30-10 & 7-31-10
This is my Cricut Daily Challenge Entry. I made my FIRST chipboard album! Since the challenge was "scrap your stash - paper", I went through my oh so lonely stash and pulled out a bunch of cat papers I had saved from a cat/dog paper stack I had bought to make some doggie scrapbooks for myself and friends a few years back.
I made the album by welding several images on the Gypsy. Carts used included Doodlecharms, Animal Kingdom, Cuttin Up & Everyday Paperdolls. The scallops on the last page were made using a Stampin Up Scallop punch and I used some SU hodgepodge hardware & ribbon throughout the book. I inked all the edges with SU Espresso ink as well.

Goodmorning! This is my Cricut Daily Challenge Entry.
Today's Cricut Circle daily challenge is shapes - circles. I created this card using SU cardstock, designer series paper, ink, ribbon border punch and sentiment. I used the Accent Essentials cart for the shapes. I picked a scalloped circle and cut as is. Then I took the same shape and used hide contour to hide the inner circle. I then copied the scalloped circle and decreased the size each time with alternating cardstock and DS paper. I sprayed the scalloped circles with water, scrunched them up tight, let them slightly dry, then opened them back up. I put a SU hodgepodge brad in the middle and added it to the card to finish drying. By wetting the circles, it allows them to dry curled up and retain their shape better. I selected a leaf, cut the shape out twice, bone folded it in the middle, then ran it at an angle through a crimper and finished it off by inking the lines. Thanks Mom, for the inspiration!

Look HOOS 1 Scrapbook Layout
Creative Escape Contest Reject
This was a Creative Escape Contest reject. It was a reject because I decided to follow the directions to a T, later to learn that I COULD have used bling. Oh well, there will always be another contest!
I used Bazzil cardstock, the Cricut Paisley cartridge, the Cricut Nursery Rhymes cartride and I think the Friends came from Gypsy Font??? I cut three cuts of the fairies and layered them so that the wings would be 3-D.
