Pop Up Neighborhood "Bloom Where You're Planted" LO

Here is my third installment of layouts created from the Circle exclusive cartridge Pop Up Neighborhood.  Am I on a roll or what?

All the cuts are from Pop Up Neighborhood with the exception of the phrase which is cut from Wild Card.  Again, I used the sky background from the Imagine Hopscotch cartridge.  I used several cuttlebug folders for embossing (the roof, bushes, clouds and basket).  Misc items are pop dotted for dimension and I inked some of the fence, house, birdhouse and tree.  I used a Signo white gel pen to add highlights to the font, flowers, watering can, hat and wheelbarrow.  I also stiched the edge of the LO...I am finally getting better at stiching those rounded corners!  =)  I did alter a couple of cuts - the man was cut off of the rake and the tire from the tree.

I hope you enjoy and I will be including my Gypsy file for this layout as well:

"GOT MILK" LO

I created this layout using the new Circle Exclusive cart "Pop Up Neighborhood".  There are so many images on this cart that make great scenery layouts.  This LO could be used to scrap your favorite pictures of your baby carrying around a bottle, someone eating cake or cookies, or pictures of people with milk mustaches.  I am going to scrap my son.  =)

All the cuts are from Pop Up Neighborhood with the exception of the phrase which is Disney Pooh Font.  I also used the sky background paper printed from Hopscotch.  The paper used is different brands from my stash and the brads are SU.  I pop dotted a few elements for added dimension.  I hope you enjoy, here's a link to my Gypsy file:

I decided that the ballon to the far left needed to be color and not a shadow, so I updated the layout:

I was inspired by the "Neighborhood Layout" on page 10 of the May Circle Magazine.  There were several things about this layout that inspired me:
  1. The use of our newest Circle Exclusive cart ~ Pop Up Neighborhood
  2. All the little houses used on the layout
  3. The fun colors used ~ blue, green, red, yellow
I was also inspired by Jana Eubank's June 3rd Circle Blog Post and used her layout as a template.  What can I say, I love what these talented ladies create!

This layout  uses the Pop Up Neighborhood for the cuts with the exception of the phrase which comes from 3 Birds on Parade and the sky background which is  printed from the Hopscotch Imagine cart. I pop dotted the balloons, clouds and a tree for added dimension along with adding pen borders and font highlights.  Although I cut the houses and trees in their entirety, I cut them along the border so you would only see the rooftops.  I thought this would help put the focus on the sky and hot air balloons.

I hope you enjoy this two page LO.  I have attended many balloon fiestas and thought this would make a perfect LO to display my pictures in.  I am also including the Gypsy file if you would like to create this layout for yourself  I only ask that you leave a comment if your are downloading. Thanks!
