Welcome to this month's edition of
My Pink Stamper's Design Team Day! Our theme for this month:
Spring is in the
AIR!!!! Let's welcome Spring with the colors YELLOW, GREEN & BLUE. You may
use other colors but must have Yellow, Green and Blue somewhere in the project.
You must also have some type of Butterfly in your project.
For my project, I created a charm necklace packaged in a mini purse:
Materials Used:
- Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden
- Cricut cartridge Girl's Makeup Party
- My Pink Stamper's Pinka-licious stamp set
- Shrinky Dink material
- Jewelry fundamentals (jump rings in assorted sizes)
- Misc. beads
- BazzillBasicsPaper self-adhesive jewels in artesan pool
- Ranger Distress Ink in crushed olive
- American Crafts heavy weight cardstock in white
Steps to create the purse:
|
Flood fill the purse from Cricut cartridge Girl's Makeup Party with pattern from Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden. |
|
Score the purse folds as shown. |
|
Punch two holes on the top score lines. |
|
String necklace through the holes (you can also use ribbon) |
|
Add embellishments and sentiment from My Pink Stamper's "Pinka-licious" stamp set. |
|
And here is a closer view of the charm I created using the Imagine cartridge Lori's Garden and shrinky dink material. I used the tutorial provided by the talented Nadia at With Glittering Eyes to create my charms and then just added beads as desired. |
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you are inspired to try something new.
Wow, what a great project! And it looks like your butterfly is going to fly off the purse. It looks alive.
