Did you see? Cricut.com has added 5 digital Father's Day Cards free for your use until June 19th!
And here are the samples:
And my version:
For this card, I only added a photo corner to the top left and inside bottom corners, a tab with the negative letters from the card to spell DAD, two gold brads and inked the card in Tim Holtz Vintage photo distress ink. |
And a card I made:
The card was really fast to make because the image takes up so much room. There is not a lot of room for embellishing but I think that's alright because you don't want to get too froufrou with a man's card. For mine, I added gold brads to the nail heads and inked the card with Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo. I think some ruler or measuring tape ribbon would look good on it also.

Here is a quick Father's Day gift I made for my Dad from the kiddos. It's a ribbon/rosette with matching card that he can pin to his clothes or display for Father's Day. |
I didn't like the "My Old Man" sentiment, so I jsut covered it. You could also cut that title off if you don't like it either. |
I used the Cricut cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes to create the matching ribbon rosette. |
They are automatically there when you log into your CCR account. =)
Happy crafting!
