love ~ Thanksgiving Card

My goal for today's Thanksgiving card was to create a harvest feel.  I also wanted to work with what I received in my recent mystery box from Sweet Stamp Shop.  The set I used was 'Quilt Stitch'.  I altered quilt panel images to create peas and corn:

I also used SSS's 'Adventure Awaits' stamp set for the fox and tent.  Here is another card I made from this set last week.

Shucks, almost done with my cards (trying to avoid cleaning and meal planning)! 😆

Give Thanks

Hello Everyone!  Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving!  I have so much to do...clean for company, decorate, prepare a menu, shop.  The list is endless.  Luckily, I have still found time to craft - there is always time to craft, right? 😉

Today I am sharing a card I made using a predesigned card from Cricut cartridge Simple Holiday Cards and Sweet Stamp Shop's Hedgehog Kiss stamp set.

I dressed the hedgehogs as pilgrims by drawing a buckle onto Mr. Hedgehog's hat and altered the maid's hat from SSS's Hats stamp set to create an apron for Mrs. Hedgehog.  Now, they are dressed and ready to give thanks at their Thanksgiving feast!  Enjoy!

Sweet Stamp Shop ~ Happy Thanksgiving

Today I am sharing two Thanksgiving cards I created using Sweet Stamp Shop's Adventure Awaits stamp set.

Sweet Stamp Shop's Adventure Awaits stamp set for the icons and Stampin Up! for the sentiment.

Sweet Stamp Shop washi.

Anna Griffin Marvelous Maple Leaves and Abundant Acorns Cuttlebug folders to dry emboss the layers.

I used Copics to color the stamps in and a Crystal Clear Spectrum Noir glitter brush to add a little gleam.  I also used liquid glass on the noses for shine and Anna Griffin Marvelous Maple Leaves and Abundant Acorns Cuttlebug folders to dry emboss the layers.

Sweet Stamp Shop 'Not Yo Boo'

I played with the second Halloween freebie from the Sweet Stamp Shop today.  This freebie was a cute girl ghost.

Here is a short video that covers the details:

Sweet Stamp Shop 'Resting Witch Face'

Happy Friday night!  I recently found a couple of cute stamp shops and of course, shopped!  To my happy surprise, when I signed up for the Sweet Stamp Shop newsletter, I received a bunch of FREEBIE digital stamps!  😍 The latest addition to their freebies was the 'Resting Witch Face" Halloween image.

She is so cute and sassy!  There is a ghost image that I plan on coloring in this weekend too.  Hope you have fun creating your last minute Halloween projects this weekend.  I know I have a few!

Happy Wicked Halloween

Today's creations were super fast and easy to make.  The first card is part of the Cricut project library meaning that it is already designed and sized for you!

I added a gift card holder to the inside of this card as well.  Every little tricker needs a treat, right?

What?  You don't have a Cricut?  It's easy to maintain this theme by using similar stamps.  Here are a couple of additional cards I created "in theme" by using stamps.

Stamp by Lindsay Ostrom titled "Witchy Woman". Sentiment Close to My Heart "Wicked".

Close to My Heart stamp set titled "Wicked".  I also used Anna Griffin's new Impression Masks.  These embossing plates allow the middle of the card to remain unembossed while the edges are embossed.  You can use any embossing folder.  In this card, I used Anna's Bitsy Bats folder.

Say "Trick or Cheese"

Hello!  It's been awhile!  Although I haven't been blogging,
I have been crafting my little heart away!  =/  There are so many new products, cuts, companies and even machines to share!  I will be updating my blog and be posting to reflect all the newness.  Blogging is a great way to have a living album of your creations to look back on and refer to as needed.  I hope you will join me as I get back into the swing of things.

To kick things off, I wanted to share a Halloween card I made.

I have heard myself say "Say Trick-or-Treat" a hundred times when taking my kiddos trick or treating.  I thought "Say trick or cheese" was a cute play on words and if a mouse could talk and trick or treat, I can imagine it saying this! =)

And when the card is opened, it holds a little "cheese"...a gift card!
