Hi Everyone! I am so glad you could join us for this month's My Pink Stamper Blog Hop. This month we were challenged to create a treat or goodie bag. Being that the holidays are just around the corner, I thought creating slices of pie was a perfect project:
- My Pink Stamper Sweet Goodness stamp set
- Cricut cartridges Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and George and Basic Shapes
- Stampin' Up Pumpkin Pie, Naturals Ivory, and Whisper White cardstock
- Stampin' Up 1 1/4 grosgrain ribbon in Pumpkin Pie
- Stampin' Up ink in Early Espresso
- Stampin' Up Vanilla hodgepodge hardware
I created the treat box using the cartridges Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and George and Basic Shapes. Utilizing my Gypsy, I welded shapes to create the crust of the pie.
I also used a tag shape to create the layers for the whip cream with the hole hidden using the hide/contour feature.
The sentiment used is from Robyn's Sweet Goodness stamp set and can be purchased HERE.
I also used a tag shape to create the layers for the whip cream with the hole hidden using the hide/contour feature.
Fold the flowers in half at each dip. |
Layer from the largest to the smallest and pin together with a brad. |
Fold up all of the layers. |
Gently pull the layers down starting with the bottom until the desired look is acheived. |
Voila! Whip cream! |
I am including my gypsy file for easy recreation:
I hope you like my rendition. Please join me every day this week for a NEW pie and download! I will also be sharing different techniques to "whip up" the whip cream.
For those of you that have visited me before, did you notice anything DIFFERENT? Yes! I got my blog made over by Chatterscene and she did a fantastic job. Do you like it? You do?
